And while Agyemang is known for curating noteworthy, trendy ensembles on Instagram, she is also the CEO and founder of EveryStylishGirl (ESG), a company dedicated to the advancement of Black and Brown women in the media and fashion industries. Founded in 2016 as an Instagram blog, ESG now provides consulting and networking platforms to women of color to connect and build their brands.

Each year, ESG hosts an annual networking conference, Sip n‘ Slay, to give industry professionals the opportunity to connect and take their careers to the next level. Since the launch, Agyemang has provided over 15,000 women with the right tools to be successful and feel empowered in the media industry. This past June, she also launched a new platform, EveryStylishGirl Biz, which offers career counseling, grants, and visibility for local Black-owned businesses, along with a global directory of over 200 Black and Brown women within media and fashion, built for companies to recruit diverse hires. And, impressively, this summer, Agyemang just launched her e-book, Social Media Tips I Wish More People Knew About, which provides social growth strategies and insider tips in a hard-to-break-through industry.

There’s no denying that ESG is a testament to Agyemang’s vast industry knowledge and experience, which is why it’s no surprise that before founding the company, she was one of the social media editors behind New York Magazine’s The Cut. While at The Cut, she doubled its Instagram following to a million followers in just one year. Agyemang is also a former writer and editor at top publications such as Refinery29, Elle, and The New York Times.
