20 Under-$250 Staples Fashion Editors Are Wearing With Jeans
I don't know what my closet would look like without denim, and I don't want to find out. I rely on jeans on a daily basis to provide the foundation for my outfits. (One look at my Instagram will show you exactly what I mean.) I'm happy to dress up jeans for a nice dinner or even wear my comfiest, stretchiest versions on a flight. If left to my own devices, I'd probably wear white tees with jeans 24/7, but I've been forcing myself to invest in special basics that make jeans look cool. And that's where this story comes in.
Below, I've rounded up my favorite staples that fashion editors have been wearing with jeans lately. OurBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing Collection is chock-full of basics with a twist that are super versatile and definitely chic. Scroll down for outfit ideas aplenty and to shop my under-$250 picks.
Meet your new favorite WFH staple. This sweater is about as comfortable and soft as it gets.
This buttery-soft vegan-leather jacket is a sight to behold. I particularly like wearing it with chunky gold jewelry.
This beautiful print is giving me Bridgerton vibes. I'm in love with the stretchy ruched bodice and puffed sleeves.
The ultimate everyday sweater that looks chill yet polished.
This shearling jacket has been a huge hit with editors and influencers alike. The shearling trim really takes it to the next level.
I adore the seafoam green and super-comfy shearling trim. What's not to love? Our editor Sierra Mayhew styled this with slightly ripped jeans and white boots.
This vest also has a matching pair of trousers, but I love how our editor Kristen Nichols styled it with wide-leg jeans.
This sweater-vest is absolutely perfect for layering. I'll be copying the above outfit and styling it with a white button-down blouse and black coat.
I'd go for a monochrome look and style this with other tan pieces.
This ultra-soft cardigan can be worn year-round with the right pieces.
This is the kind of well-made basic you'll never regret investing in. When you factor in the cost per wear, this versatile, luxurious tank is a smart buy.
This crushed-velvet fabric is so sumptuous.
I hoard striped sweaters and have never regretted a single purchase.
This is exactly how to make jeans look cool.
Next, Hailey Bieber just wore the 2022 trend I'm replacing skinny jeans with.
Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
