This Street Style Photo Made My Heart Skip a Beat

There are so many street style images that cross my path each day, so it’s hard for one to really stand out… but to audibly gasp while scrolling through images is a rare occasion. Patricia Manfield (who also happens to be my current style crush) was recently snapped on the street at New York Fashion Week, and when I came across her outfit, my heart skipped a beat. It’s spring in Australia, and her look is exactly what I want to wear right now (and I’m sure you do, too).

When you take a close look at her ensemble—an off-the-shoulder top, and denim skirt, there’s nothing too ground-breaking about it, but it’s the little details and accessories that make it that much better. The pinstripe business-style shirt is a fresh update on the off-the-shoulder top (I flogged the off-the-shoulder last summer, so keen to try a new style), and the denim skirt with the raw hem feels decidedly cooler than the ’70s style button down I’ve been wearing consistently for the past two years. Once you add a Gucci belt (hello, it’s the only belt you need in your closet), and a splash of neon, it’s a 10 out of 10.
