This Cult Shoe Brand Is About to Launch Jewellery (and Bags!)
Last week, Stuart Weitzman announced Giovanni Morelli as the brand’s new creative director. Having earned a masters’s degree in fashion design at the Domus Academy in Milan, Morelli has also designed for brands such as Marc Jacobs, Loewe, and Chloé, to name a few. Needless to say, the brand seems to be in good hands. And don’t worry, Vogue has reported that the brand's lauded Nudist heels aren’t going anywhere any time soon under this new direction.
In addition to breathing new life to Stuart Weitzman’s shoe collections, we’re equally excited that the brand is set to launch accessories in their Fall 2018 season as well, including bags and jewellery. Having spearheaded a number of iconic bags for Chloé including the infamous Faye bag, we can only assume there are great things to come from Morelli in the near future. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see how Staurt Weitzman transforms under his direction.
