Guys Are Chic Too—20 of the Best Dressed Men, Well, Ever
Here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , we talk a lot about women's fashion, whether it's worn by editors, influencers, or celebrities. We rarely, however, discuss the style decisions made by men. But lately, I have found myself being more and more inspired by the men I see littering page after page of paparazzi images, from film actors to musicians to athletes. Props to stylists like Eric McNeal, who works with Lewis Hamilton, and Storm Pablo, Bad Bunny's longtime outfit maker. Their work is not going unnoticed.
Still, both the clients and their stylists behind the curtain rarely get the level of attention they deserve for the outfits worn on red carpets, in Formula One paddocks and NBA tunnels, at fashion shows, and, of course, on the streets of their respective cities. That's why I thought it only right to dole out some praise to the best dressed men, well, ever—or, at the very least, the ones dressing the best right now. Scroll down to see who made the cut.
Lewis Hamilton
Thanks to Rashi Gaur, the crediting genius behind @hamazinglew, I'm kept very much in the loop on all things Lewis Hamilton's style. In a sport where most drivers only wear their team merchandise, the seven-time F1 world champion is a welcome entrant in the paddock every week (or so) with his experimental sense of style that ranges from pared-down Loewe looks like the one above to sequin jumpsuits courtesy of Rick Owens.
Shop the look:
Jacob Elordi
Ever since a photo of Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi carrying a Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag in the crook of his arm in L.A. went viral earlier this year, his style, specifically his casual street style, has only gotten more impressive and alluring. Consistently making jeans and a tee look shockingly chic with the help of a great handbag—he's also been spotted carrying Bottega's Cassette bag as well as others by Burberry and Celine—the Australian is quickly becoming one of 2023's most impressive wearers of clothes and accessories.
Shop the look:
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has game on and off the court—style game, that is. If you take one look at the 25-year-old's Instagram, I wouldn't blame you if you thought he was a fashion person rather than a professional basketball player. There are outfit photos galore and regular appearances at fashion events like Wholesale Replica Bag Jacquemus show and the Met Gala (casual).
Shop the look:
Bad Bunny
Long before he was dating street style favorite Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny was serving up unreal looks on a silver platter. For years, the "Where She Goes" singer and his stylist Storm Pablo have been ideating outfits. Highlights include his all-white Jacquemus suit and cape at the Met Gala and this Westerncore ensemble for the after-party following it.
Shop the look:
Tom Holland
Though both he and Zendaya are famously private, every now and then, we're granted a glimpse at the couple, and consistently, Tom Holland looks impeccably sharp. Whether he's walking the red carpet at a major premiere or the pit lane at the Monaco Grand Prix, my editor senses don't have to be tingling to know that Spiderman will be dressed to the nines.
Shop the look:
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Fellow superhero (different cinematic universe, same job) Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who's most known for playing Black Manta in the Aquaman franchise, is one of those dressers who can really do it all. His looks could kill whether they're just a jeans-and-tee combo—he can often be seen wearing this with some sort of leather outerwear—or a color explosion like the Versace ensemble above.
Shop the look:
Pierre Gasly
Though Hamilton is the clear star of the F1 paddock, both for his records and his style, French Alpine driver Pierre Gasly is following in his footsteps with regular appearances at glitzy fashion events like the Cannes Film Festival and Paris Fashion Week. Then again, he is French. Looking chic is practically in his DNA.
Shop the look:
Riz Ahmed
What I personally admire about actor Riz Ahmed's style approach is that almost every look he wears feels intentional. He takes his outfits seriously rather than swaying from trend to trend, which, in today's trend-driven fashion landscape, is something of a rarity. Take his 2022 Met Gala look for example. The theme was Gilded Glamour, which many of his fellow attendees took as an opportunity to dress up and look pretty. Ahmed, instead, made a statement with his attire for the evening, working with NYC-based label 4SDesigns and stylist Julie Ragolia to create an ode to the immigrant workers who made the Gilded Age possible.
Shop the look:
Matthieu Blazy
The creative director of Bottega Veneta has to have good taste. That's a given. But there's something so effortless and casual about Matthieu Blazy's style that doesn't feel like "fashion." It just feels like him. Every time he walks out onto the runway after debuting a collection, my eyes are drawn to his outfit, even after seeing look after look of beautifully crafted ready-to-wear. If that doesn't prove that he belongs on this list, I don't know what would.
Shop the look:
Steve Lacy
There's no one I want to see wear Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent menswear collections more than singer-songwriter and guitarist Steve Lacy, who, thankfully, starred in the French house's last big campaign and attended its Paris Fashion Week show last week. Even better, he did so in a pinstripe suit and elbow-length leather gloves.
Shop the look:
Omar Apollo
Like the name of his TikTok-viral track, Omar Apollo's style is "Evergreen" to the core, with plenty of timeless white tank tops, striped button-downs, and jeans that, combined with some special touches in the form of jewelry and accessories, make for a laid-back and undeniably cool aesthetic. As he's a 2023 Grammy nominee for Best New Artist and the face of Loewe's fall/winter 2023 campaign, we'll surely be talking a lot more about the singer's fashion moves in the future.
Shop the look:
Paul Mescal
As Paul Mescal was catapulted onto the scene thanks to a chain necklace (as well as his incredible acting alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones in Normal People), it should come as no surprise that he's making an appearance on this best dressed list. Since his big debut on the Hulu adaptation of Sally Rooney's beloved novel, the Irish actor's career and style have only developed, culminating in this gorgeous Gucci look at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party, where he celebrated being nominated for his role in Aftersun.
Shop the look:
Oscar Isaac
His red carpet looks, including this skirted suit by Thom Browne, are epic in their own right, but the real reason I added Oscar Isaac to this list was for *those* behind-the-scenes photos of the actor that Scenes From a Marriage's costume designer Miyako Bellizzi posted from some fittings for the HBO series back in 2021. They absolutely broke the internet and made practically every single person who saw them want to master the hot-dad aesthetic.
Shop the look:
Young Mazino
Despite Young Mazino's fairly new position in the limelight, the Beef actor has already made quite the name for himself in the fashion space, walking in the men's Hermès show during New York Fashion Week, sitting front row at Peter Do's debut for Helmut Lang, and hitting up star-studded parties like the one Fossil threw ahead of the biannual event.
Shop the look:
Jeremy O'Harris
You might know Jeremy O'Harris best for his work as a playwright, but his role in the fashion industry shouldn't be slept on. From modeling in shows to collaborating with major players like Sssense, O'Harris is quickly making a name for himself in the style world, one showstopping outfit at a time.
Shop the look:
Jonathan Anderson
Like with fellow designer Blazy, I wait all season for Jonathan Anderson, the mega-talented designer behind JW Anderson and Loewe, to walk out following both brands' shows just so I can see what he's wearing. His outfit usually consists of a hoodie, T-shirt, or jersey; jeans or sweatpants; and either his go-to Loewe x On trainers or the Spanish brand's next It boots or clogs. Every time, his ensembles deserve just as much applause as the looks he just presented.
Shop the look:
Dwyane Wade
NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade may have hung up his jersey back in 2019, but fortunately for us, all he did was replace it with a bevy of point-scoring looks, including this white tank top that, despite its simplicity, looks incredibly suave with these black trousers and chunky boots.
Shop the look:
Mika Hashizume
Singer and model Mika Hashizume may work with tons of different brands of the highest caliber, but to me, it's Bottega Veneta that he wears best. He's a regular attendee at the Italian label's shows, and you can expect to find Hashizume arriving in style, as proven by the above look that features chrome-colored Intrecciato leather pants.
Shop the look:
Ryan Gosling
He might be just Ken in Barbie Land, but here on Earth, Ryan Gosling is one of the most highly respected dressers in all of Hollywood, whether he's going for a super-tailored, timeless look as shown here or something a tad more rugged—yes, I'm talking about his Place Beyond the Pines aesthetic.
Shop the look:
Cillian Murphy
When I tell you that I let out a little scream when I saw Cillian Murphy, my Cillian Murphy, wearing a sheer black blouse by Saint Laurent with a pinstripe suit, a bolo tie, and the coolest Wyatt Chelsea boots of all time, I'm not exaggerating. The Irish actor has always had a cool factor about him, whether he was playing a bike courier in 28 Days Later or Tommy Shelby, the exquisitely suited leader of the fictional 1900s gang known as the Peaky Blinders. Even so, I never saw a sheer blouse in his future. Now that I have, it's been understandably hard to look away.
