15 Cool and Trendy Winter Finds I'm Fully Obsessing Over
It might still be fall, but I am already creating my ideal winter shopping wishlists. There are so many exciting trends circulating right now and since I can't invest in them all, I wanted to figure out which are worth waiting for just a little longer. After sifting through all of my favorite retailers and then some, I was able to narrow down my picks to a slim 15.
Each of the items you'll see below has been carefully curated and when you really look at it, the sum could equal an extremely well-rounded seasonal winter wardrobe. Including sweaters, boots, accessories, and more, I am so excited to share with you the winter finds I am fully obsessing over.
It's no secret that striped sweaters are officially everywhere. This French-girl staple is one I now wear so much, I consider it a basic in my closet too. While there are many chic versions of this particular sweater style, this cropped turtleneck one from The Frankie Shop is the one I keep coming back to. It's so easy to pair with high and low-waist bottoms, layers perfectly under a blazer or coat, and those stripes are beyond perfect if you ask me.
Yes, this jacket is under $100. I plan on sizing up on this one so I can layer it over chunky sweaters. I love how it has that lived-in feel already which will make it that much cooler when I pair it with tailored trousers and ballet flats.
I thought I hated these until I saw everyone wearing them and I have no shame in admitting that. These new ultra mini Uggs have officially gone viral so I would get your hands on these before they sell out. Naturally, I wanted the platform version more, but I can't seem to find a pair in stock so this is my next best bet and I'm not complaining.
I didn't know I was a cargo girl until I saw this skirt. The way it's styled here is what sold me. This trendy piece alongside true wardrobe staples like the thin belt and knee-high boots makes this skirt somehow look timeless. Since I will be needing one more due to the colder season, you better bet I will be throwing that Levi's faux leather jacket on top of this chic outfit.
Lately, I've been splurging on shoes and these just might be my next victim. I can't stop thinking about how stunning these would look over sheer black tights and a leather miniskirt. That's the kind of winter party dressing I'm trying to achieve this season.
If you're a sweater girl, you understand why splurging on one every once in a while makes sense. The quality is unmatched when it comes to certain brands and this chunky Anine Bing number is worth every penny. This is the kind of sweater that will only get better with age and lucky for us, cable knits are trending so you're killing two birds with one stone.
While I would love to splurge on the similar Miu Miu version of this coat that came down the FW22 runway, my wallet has convinced me otherwise. Hopefully, by now you can tell I am down for investing in a quality piece, but as someone who lives in Los Angeles, I think the more affordable alternative to this coat makes more sense for my current lifestyle.
Denim maxi skirts are a trend I have yet to dip into but winter feels like the perfect time. Instead of jeans, I plan on swapping in a denim maxi here and there to switch things up. I envision them styled with knee-high boots or ballet flats and a simple tee and blazer on top.
I have not been able to stop thinking about these boots. One of the most forward boot trends of fall 2022 is what we call "waders" which are boots that are extremely wide on top. This particular style looks great with short skirts, maxi skirts, and if you aren't feeling a super trendy look, just put them under your pants.
If I am getting a cargo skirt I might as well get the pants too. These very affordable wide-leg jeans somehow look much sleeker than your typical pair of cargo pants. The low price point is perfect for someone who wants to dabble in the trend but isn't fully ready to invest.
Cashmere socks are always worth it, but now more than ever. Since everyone is pairing cozy socks scrunched down with their ballet flats, these socks will not only lend themselves as a trend-worthy It item, but also a quality investment.
This skirt is perfect. It's the perfect length, the perfect texture, and the perfect price considering the buttery soft recycled leather. Right now, I am obsessed with styling really short skirts with maxi coats. Again, I live in Los Angeles so I can get away with this.
Balaclavas really hit that sweet spot between trendy and practical. If you live in a more extreme climate, this accessory is a must, but if you're just looking for that cool-girl factor that you can pretty much throw on with any casual winter outfit, this has got you covered too.
I plan on wearing these boots for the rest of my life. This moto hardware is having a moment right now, but I know it's a trend that will come back time and time again.
Yes, denim jackets are back, so hopefully, you didn't toss yours from a few years ago. The way to make this jacket style feel particularly fresh is by pairing it with your favorite pair of jeans and layering an oversize button-down underneath.
