You Won't Believe These Shoes Are Actually Uggs
"Ugg" and "edgy" are two words we would normally never see in the same sentence—until now. Ugg has had something of a fashion makeover as of late, as evidenced by the classic boots featured in Nicopanda's New York Fashion Week collection, and it just launched a collaboration with one of London's most celebrated designers.
Ugg is owning its "ugly shoe" rep by teaming up with London Fashion Week label Preen by Thornton Bregazzi to create chunky, stompy sliders and flatforms in black and white. These shoes are nothing like what you'd usually see from Ugg, as the shoes have plenty of attitude and are for those who are looking to make a brave fashion statement rather than feel like they are wearing slippers. These runway-approved shoes were paired with lacy white-and-black ankle socks in Preen's LFW show in September 2016, and they have now just dropped online for £275 and £325.

Christopher Kane also tapped into the "ugly shoe" trend this season, and our editor tested them out to see if they could possibly look stylish.
