This Is the £220 Hair Tool That VB Won't Travel Without
Unlike VB who is rarely spotted with a hair out of place, even when she is fresh off a long-haul flight, I never look my best at the airport. Despite the lack of humidity causing my skin to go as shrivelled and dry as an old prune, I always manage to step off a plane with greasier hair than when I started—and plenty of static, flyaways and frizz to boot. So. Glam.
Luckily, Victoria Beckham, my beacon of beauty inspiration, took to Instagram Stories this weekend to reveal the secret behind her chic, sleek airport hair: a pair of £220 cordless hair straighteners from Balmain.
Yes, undoubtedly, looking as good as Posh comes with a price tag. But when she always looks so pulled together, I can't help but feel a little tempted. Keep scrolling to find out exactly why Beckham won't travel without this hair tool and to shop her other travel beauty favourites.
"So I've been looking for the perfect hair straighteners that you can use onboard that you don't need to plug in that get nice and hot," Beckham explained on Instagram at the weekend. "So before I get off a flight, I can straighten the little bits of my hair."
Unzipping the Balmain hair straighteners from their pouch, Beckham continued: "Most of them don't get so hot, but I've found these Balmain hair straighteners that come in this nice little bag, which I think is going to be a life changer. No more frizzy hair when I get off the plane."

Specially created for on-the-go women, easy styling while travelling and for working backstage at photo shoots and fashion shows where cords can get in the way, the Balmain Paris Hair Couture Universal Cordless Straightener is a pretty nifty tool. It comes with three pre-set heat settings and has titanium plates that glide through even the most unruly of strands to deliver a soft, sleek, shiny finish.
Plus, you can use it as a curling iron to twist sections of the hair around the barrel for on-the-go waves and curls.
Being a universal jet setter, it's no surprise that VB took to Instagram to share her travel beauty tips. In fact, if you head to her VB Beauty highlights reel, you'll find a whole host of other recommendations for your airport beauty bag.

A whole hosts of celebs swear by this £205 moisturiser, including VB. It's a deeply nourishing lotion that hydrates all skin types. It also comes in a rich version that Beckham says is "too greasy for every day but perfect for travel and cold weather."
VB is a long-time fan of facialist Sarah Chapman so it's no surprise that she loves this mist when travelling. It hydrates and comforts irritated or sensitive skin, protects your complexion from the elements and helps to strengthen your skin's barrier with continued use.
An illuminating two-step eye treatment that instantly invigorates and brightens tired eyes. First, massage on the vitamin C-enriched eye serum and then apply the revitalising patches. Leave for 10 minutes and watch as dark circles and puffiness are reduced once removed.
A serious skin serum, this high-performance formula is a combination of 2% phloretin, 10% L-Ascorbic acid and 0.5% ferulic acid to protect skin from external aggressors—a must when you're stuck on a long-haul flight—and improves the overall appearance of your complexion.
