These 5 Styles of £40-Something Jeans Have Seriously Impressed Me
Sponsor Content Created With Weekday
In the fashion calendar, September is a time traditionally associated with newness. Autumn collections arrive in store, and fashion week gives us a first look at emerging trends for the following year. But for us, this shift in season is often about refining our wardrobes and investing in classic, versatile staples. Weekday's new-in section is bursting with tie-dye and trippy prints, but it's the new denim that's really grabbing our attention.
Weekday arguably has the best denim offering on the high street, delivering amazing quality for under £60 a pair. The brand has mastered classic cuts, and its Rowe straight-leg, high-waisted jeans are simply perfect. Although Weekday tends to focus on durable, classic cuts, it does tweak silhouettes to offer an unlikely edge. This season, that edge is found in the waistbands, from crossover fastenings to dipped fronts. Keep scrolling to see the styles we really love from Weekday for autumn and beyond.
1. Ace
The Ace jeans are a key style for autumn and come in a whopping nine washes. They have a real '90s nostalgic feel thanks to the slouchy, wide flared legs and the super-high waist. Add a bucket hat for full skater vibes.
2. Rowe
The Rowe jeans are probably our favourite of the lot and are clearly a go-to, considering they come in 20 shades of denim. They are a simple pair of straight-leg jeans with a classic high waist and five pockets.
3. Arrow
Next up, we have the Arrow jeans. These are bound to divide a crowd thanks to the Y2K-style low waistband, which sits below the hips.
4. Twin
These jeans are another conversation-starter thanks to the V-style dip at the fastening. They're also made from organic cotton.
5. Avery
The Avery jeans may get some did-you-pay-extra-for-the-holes jokes from dads and uncles, but we love the crossover fastening. The silhouette is classic, so they aren't too out there.
Autumn Pieces to Style With Jeans
As for what to wear with your denim, Weekday has an amazing selection of staples. Below are some of our favourite shirts and knits.
