Ask a Stylist: What to Wear for Every Kind of Valentine's Date
For me, planning out a date look in advance creates a higher feeling of anticipation and excitement for the actual event. I’m obsessed with clothes and shoes, so that might be why, but I have a feeling others feel the same way. Constructing looks in my head is my favourite way to pass the time. "The best opportunity to take your '70s-inspired jumpsuit and strappy stilettos out for a ride. Men rarely appreciate a good jumpsuit, but the ladies will. Wear with a fresh face, a pop lip and textured hair."

"Keep things simple and easy. Wrap dresses are no-fuss and easy to wear. You’ll feel comfortable and feminine. Add some flat sandals so you can head off for a sunshine stroll after lunch."
"This calls for your sexiest LBD and stilettos (because, why not?). Team with your highest stilettos, slick hair and a berry-red lip."

"Just because you’ve ordered food delivered to your door, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look chic when it arrives. A relaxed off-the-shoulder top and comfy shorts are elevated by a fresh face and lip, and a cheek tint."
"Comfort is key when sitting in a movie theatre. Opt for what you’re comfortable in (a shirt and jeans with a bit of stretch is usually pretty safe), and elevate with Gucci slides and a smokey eye."
