14 Ways to Wear Sweatpants That I Promise Won't Fail You
For reasons that no longer need explaining, I'd feel pretty good betting on the fact that you've likely either worn or thought about wearing sweats in the last 24 hours. If not, then at least it's safe to say that you are now!
Back in March (what now feels like ages ago), I shared my favorite loungewear of the moment, of course including several pairs of sweats. A couple of weeks later, I showed you how nine stylish celebrities manage to make sweatpants look cute. More recently, we covered the best hoodies on the internet and I even had my mom share her favorite brand for sweatsuits. So, what's next?
Since we all probably have at least one good pair of sweatpants or joggers in our arsenals at this point, today I decided to turn it to some of my favorite girls on the 'gram to show us 14 fresh ways to wear them. This should tie you over for at least the next two weeks, at which point we'll probably have dozens of new ideas ready for the taking. To see all the looks for yourself and, of course, do some shopping just in case you're still in the market, just keep scrolling.
This outfit is just one more reason to invest in a timeless trench.
A chunky gold necklace and trending Nike socks make all the difference in a tee-and-sweatpants outfit.
If it's too hot for a matching sweatshirt, go for a fun matching tee.
Of course a cardigan looks amazing with sweats.
Polish up your look by adding a necklace and tying a sweater around your shoulders.
Remember blazers? You can swill wear them as such!
Mix and match tie-dye prints for a look that's as uplifting as it is eye-catching.
When my feet remember how to walk in heels, I'm pairing them with a sweatsuit.
Bodysuits don't just look good with sweats, they're comfy, too.
Right now, a button-down is basically the equivalent of an evening gown, and I'm into it.
Remember, you can never go wrong with a matching set—especially in a fun color.
Contrast bright sweats with neutral basics for some balance.
Thought animal-print shoes don't go with a tie-dye sweatsuit? Think again.
Running out for errands? Stick to a monochromatic palette to instantly feel chic.
Next, everything I'd buy from Zara for spring.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
