Model and "Skinthusiast" Yvette Corinne Walks Us Through Her Daily Skin Regimen
We make it our business to know (and, obviously, reveal) people's go-to skincare and beauty regimens. Not only is channeling our inner Nancy Drew practically written in the job description as beauty editors, but our perpetual product curiosity is also an insatiable, intrinsic itch. Simply put, we want to know what people are putting on their faces, where they're putting it on their faces, when they're putting it on their faces, and why they're putting it on their faces. It'd be exhausting if we didn't happen to love it so much.
Most recently, we reached out to model, content creator, and self-proclaimed "skinthusiast" Yvette Corinne to dig into her go-to skin routine and ask her all of our burning product questions.
"When it comes to skincare, I try to use mainly clean and natural skincare products," Corinne tells us right off the bat. "My skin doesn’t react well to chemicals, and cost is not a factor when it comes to skincare. If the product is good, it's good. I don't determine how effective a product is based on the price. I feel like you can miss out on so many amazing products that way!"
Below, Corinne is detailing her go-to daily skincare routine and revealing the must-have skin elixirs that keep her "very dry" skin type topped up with hydration. Keep scrolling!
Morning Routine
Cleanser:
"My morning routine always starts with this gel cleanser from Versed," notes Corinne. "I make sure to follow the 60-second rule—aka—wash your face for a full 60 seconds for a really thorough cleanse."
Toner:
Next, Corinne reaches for this radiance-enhancing toner from Derma E. It's strategically boosted with a lush blend of glycolic acid, rooibos, rose hip, chamomile, and aloe vera to simultaneously brighten, tone, and firm the complexion.
Vitamin C Serum:
For a daily (skin) dose of vitamin C, Corinne favors this cherry-spiked serum blend from Farmacy. It's formulated to play nicely with all skin types (whether you're oily or dry) and boasts a potent blend featuring four different types of vitamin C along with a helpful serving of skin-quenching hyaluronic acid.
Clarifying Serum:
Epitomizing Corinne's earlier sentiment that a product can be extremely efficacious no matter its price tag is this fan favorite from Versed. Clean, nontoxic, and sustainably-made, this clarifying serum is a great antidote for stressed-out skin. Willow bark extract, niacinamide, and zinc come to bat to improve congestion, inflammation, and the overall tone and clarity of your complexion.
Moisturizer:
For her daily moisturizer, Corinne prioritizes this rich mix from Versed. It's steeped with strategic anti-aging ingredients and is especially helpful for anyone who veers dry on the skin-moisture scale.
Facial Oil:
To top it all off, Corinne tells us she likes this dreamy oil from Derma E, which is enriched with juicy jojoba, argan, and seabuckthorn oils along with light-reflecting mica for an extra shot of lit-from-within shimmer.
Evening Routine
Cleansing Balm:
"At nighttime, I like to switch it up and do a different mask every night," Corinne shares. "But I always start my routine by breaking down my makeup with Versed's Cleansing Balm."
Cleansing Oil:
"Next, I follow that with Tula's Replenishing Cleansing Oil for a nice double-cleanse."
Toner:
Then comes toner. Corinne is a fan of this simple yet iconic floral formula made from skin-softening hydro-essential rose oil, soothing aloe vera, and other key hydrating agents like hyaluronic acid and sodium PCA.
Overnight Peel:
Last but not least, Corinne adds this best-selling overnight peel remedy from Versed. Dullness's worst enemy, it's formulated with lactic and glycolic acids, which break down dead skin cells while vitamin A goes to work to exfoliate, brighten, and moisturize. Then, additional ingredients like allantoin, rose hip, and vitamin E keep the peace so even people with inflammation or sensitive skin can reap this peel's beauty-sleep magic.
