7 Major Winter 2024 Boot Trends You Can Shop at Zara Right Now
Brittany Davy
You'd be hard pressed to find someone (fashion fanatic or otherwise) who doesn't have an item of clothing from Zara in their wardrobe, from royals to celebrities and influencers to editors. The Spanish retailer has developed a reputation for itself over the years for creating affordable, trend-led pieces and contemporary basics that can act as the cornerstones of any wardrobe. Zara's mass-market appeal doesn't end at clothing though. The brand's footwear is equally as coveted, and this winter in particular, we've spotted quite a number of expensive-looking boots in the seasonal collection, many of which we predict will sell out in no time.

This season, the brand has once again aced the concept of timeless classics with its boot selection, whilst also creating pairs that are bound to elevate any outfit going. And I'm not just talking about chunky soles, although these are key once again this year. Amongst the standouts of the tall styles are Western styles, suede pairs, stud detailing, animal print and classic riding boots. Prefer ankle boots? Zara's new-in section is all about high-heeled boots with pointy toes, and they remind me of pairs we've most likely all worn over the years with jeans and a nice top.

However, the brand also has something for those of us who are feeling a little more adventurous. I may be downplaying this slightly, as Zara is backing some of the most eye-catching boots we've seen on the high street, from flame-adorned knee-highs to sequin-encrusted pairs that have me planning my next night out.
No matter your preference, keep scrolling to shop the seven boot trends Zara is championing for winter 2024 that you can undoubtedly continue to wear well into spring next year.
The Zara Boot Trends That Are Going to Be Big in Winter 2024
1. RIDING BOOTS
Style Notes: Timeless and incredibly easy to style, the versatile riding boot will never date. For winter 2024, Zara has kept things classic leaving their boot options plain as well as with subtle buckles and soft embroidered finishes. I'll be styling mine with everything, from mini skirts and midi dresses to jeans and leggings.

Burgundy is a huge colour trend this A/W.
2. SUEDE
Style Notes: Classic leather boots will never go out of style, however for 2024, a lot of fashion people are turning their attention to suede pairs instead. A much softer alternative to their leather counterparts, suede is a great option for those looking to add a point of difference to their winter outfits.
Shop Suede Boots:
3. COWBOY
Style Notes: Easy to dress up or down, a Western-style boot will earn you serious cool points. If you're more a minimalist like myself, the thought of cowboy boots can be intimidating, however Zara has a number of more pared-back styles on offer for winter 2024.

4. CHUNKY ANKLE BOOTS
Style Notes: A pair of chunky-sole ankle boots have probably become a staple in all of our wardrobes by now, however, Zara has a number of new styles that may be worth adding to your winter outfit rotations. The buckled pair is a particular standout this year.
Shop Chunky Ankle Boots:
5. HEELED LONG BOOTS
Style Notes: Whether you opt for a mid-calf, knee-high or thigh-high style, heeled long boots are the easiest way to dress up your winter outfit.
Shop Heeled Long Boots:
6. PATENT
Style Notes: Looking for an easy way to elevate your cold-weather outfit? A glossy patent boot will do just that. This year, Zara has patent boots in a number of trending colours.

7. PRINTED AND STUDDED
Style Notes: If you're anything like me, you most likely spend most of the chillier months in neutrals. So a pair of patterned or embellished boots is the perfect way to add interest to an outfit, without taking you out of your comfort zone. Forever on trend, Zara has a number of animal-printed and metal-studded options to shop this winter.
