Zara Just Dropped Its Spring Collection, and It's Better Than I'd Have Hoped
This is a funny in-between time for shopping, as we are at the tail end of the winter sales and the spring collections are ever-so-slowly beginning to trickle into new-in sections. Zara has this week, however, gave us a clear indication of the spring 2020 trends that will translate into our wardrobes. Since these are the trends Zara is backing, you know they're destined for commercial success. So what is the retailer throwing its weight behind this upcoming season?
The spring shopping list includes a slouchy clutch bag, a knitted sleeveless vest, a fine-knit polo shirt, square-toe loafers, leather trousers and puff-sleeve cardigans. One of the most surprising trends from the S/S 20 collections is leather, and Zara clearly thinks this will take off, as the new-in section is packed with leather skirts, dresses, trousers and shirts in burgundy, tan and black.
