Zara's Already Stocking New Trends—These Are the 5 That Matter

We all know the high street is quick to adopt the trends, but rarely will our favourite stores project the catwalk trends out of season. As standard, the runways showcase the outfits that’ll define our wardrobes around six months ahead of time, before the designer pieces will actually become shoppable. From there, the high-street will then follow suit.
However, having seen Zara’s latest collection start to drop, it’s clear the affordable fashion powerhouse is hell-bent on being ahead of the curve, for it has already started adding many key items autumn/winter 2019 items to its new-in section.

PINK DRESSES

BRIGHT SANDALS
You'll be pleased to hear that Zara predicts strappy sandals will still be hot shoe property for autumn. Only instead of neutral hues, the brand is backing bright and playful interpretations of the footwear.
POLKA DOTS
Moving away from the florals that have dominated the past few months, Zara intends to shift its focus onto polka dots of the monochrome variety. That, or beige—that's about as colourful as this trend gets.
HAIR SLIDES
Okay, so hair slides aren't exactly a new trend, but they're certainly sticking around as far as Zara is concerned. Take the minimal approach with a gold set, or go all-out with colourful gems.
'80S GLAM
Continuing with spring's obsession with '80s apparel, Zara intends on shifting the focus from off-duty wares to after-dark glamour. Think one-shoulder tops, satin hareem trousers, acrylic arm candy and sequins in short hemlines. You may not feel ready for it yet, but it's coming…
