One of the grumbles you often hear about fashion influencers is that they post new designer pieces on Instagram every week, presenting an unattainable idea of shopping. However, it really depends on who you follow, as there are a number of influencers and editors who fly the flag for the high street. There are five influencers in particular who always seem to find the best pieces in Zara, so I asked them to share with me the five things they want to buy this summer from the high-street giant.
There were a few hero pieces that kept appearing in my emails chains, including a pair of electric blue strappy sandals and a beige-coloured oversized poplin dress. Other standout pieces include a floral bucket hat, an XXL tan tote bag, a lilac wrap dress and an '80s-style tuxedo dress in pink graphic florals.
