I'm a Beauty Editor Buying Everything on My List at Once—30 Items in My Cart
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
If I'm being completely honest, I always have anywhere from 20 to 30 beauty items saved to my wish list at once. Call me obsessed, but I think I would be in the wrong profession if that weren't the case. What can I say? I'm always discovering cool new finds that are shaking up the beauty industry or are just great everyday essentials. Both are equally important.
Every now and then, I completely lose control of my body and hit the purchase button on my entire list. It happens, right? In the spirit of transparency, I decided to go ahead and share all my recent obsessions in case you're also in a spendy-type mood. A few of these I've recently gotten my hands on, while others I'm still eyeing. (Don't worry, though. It won't be long before I hit purchase.) Keep on scrolling for all the finds on my wish list worth snagging.
This is literally one of the best aluminum-free deodorants I've ever used. Basically, Zoë Kravitz made me buy it—she swears by it, so I snagged it. It just smells incredible and lasts so long. In addition to its fabulous organic products, Milk + Honey has a few luxurious spa locations—one that I had the pleasure of visiting recently. The brand's newly opened Culver City location in L.A. is so peaceful, and the Hydrating Cocoon treatment I received was just the relaxation I needed. I couldn't recommend the brand or its spa treatments more, TBH.
I've been a huge fan of Beauty Chef formulas for a while now, so you could say I was more than ecstatic to test out the brand's new offering that's specifically formulated to clear up acne. It has skin-clearing ingredients like burdock root and zinc in it to help clear up your complexion from the inside out. I've been taking it consistently for about a week and have noticed a few bumps around my cheek area have totally disappeared.
Usually, I'm not one for plumping lip glosses, but this one from Too Faced is a winner. It provides just the right amount of sheen on the lips and does give them a luscious, full appearance.
I just got this foundation recently and can't get enough. It provides a natural, matte finish that's totally buildable and blurs any enlarged pores. It's also oil-free, so it's great for acne-prone skin. Lastly, the price tag is pretty unbeatable.
I recently got a Luzern facial with organic aesthetician Katie Sobelman, and she used this luxe, hydrating essence on my skin. It had never felt smoother or more deeply moisturized. The feeling lingered long after the facial, so I knew I had to snatch it up. It's alcohol-free and loaded with nourishing green tea for extra radiance, ceramides, willow bark extract, and Swiss Alpine extracts to help reduce any inflammation or irritation.
Sobelman told me that she uses this lightweight face oil from organic skincare hero Carter + Jane. It went straight into my cart because it's composed of a blend of cold-pressed Moroccan prickly pear seed oil, avocado oil, aloe vera, and sweet almond oil. It's light and noncomedogenic, so it's great for adding extra hydration to acne-prone skin.
I'm a bit of an herbal enthusiast—it's a hobby and passion of mine. This herbal blend from Apothékary intrigued me because it contains ingredients meant to help reduce and clear up acne. The adaptogenic blend of mushrooms, hibiscus, and collagen has really helped clear and brighten up my skin in addition to the Beauty Chef formula I've been taking.
This mask is one I'll buy on repeat for the rest of my life. It's a light clarifying mask that features vitamin-packed pumpkin (that smells delicious) and exfoliating apricot seed powder. My skin always feels baby soft after I use it and has a little more pep in its step.
Another splurgy item from Luzern that's 100% worth the money. After hearing from Sobelman how this cream (and all of Luzern's other fabulous products) are like a tall drink of water for your skin, I'm fully convinced it's time to switch to a full Luzern routine. This cream in particular features Biodyne, a powerful active that contains a mixture of peptides to promote the uptake of oxygen. Sobelman explained to me that an extra dose of oxygen is also good for acne-prone skin because it promotes wound healing and can kill certain bacteria.
Farmacy's Honey Potion Mask is a ride-or-die for me. I always buy the biggest size available, and that won't be changing anytime soon. I use a prescription-strength form of retinol most nights, so it's nice to have this mask handy when I need some rich hydration. Honey is also a powerful antimicrobial agent so it's great for acne-prone skin, too.
I recently received a sample of Byredo's newest offering, De Los Santos, and I have to say it smells divine. I was originally skeptical to try it because I usually lean more toward floral scents, but this one did not disappoint. It's earthy and woody but not overtly so. It smells rich but fresh with notes of Palo Santo and mirabelle. It's truly the best of both worlds, and I have to snag a full size ASAP.
I'm sure some of you are over me talking about this bronzer, but I'm going to include it here anyway. It's honestly my favorite bronzer because it gives you such a natural, sun-kissed glow that people won't even know you're wearing it. It adds a gorgeous warmth to my complexion and is so buildable with the brand's Duo Face Brush ($24).
This sweet- and warm-smelling perfume has been on my wish list for ages because I discovered that it's Cynthia Erivo's signature scent. I don't normally love super-sweet perfumes, but the notes of myrrh, warm almond, and lavender really add a floral, earthy twist to it. Definitely up my alley.
Basically, I'm always on a mission to attain Victoria Beckham's glowing skin, and buying her Cell Rejuvenating Moisturizer (made in partnership with Augustinus Bader) seems to be the way to do it. I've had my eye on this one particularly because it doubles as a makeup primer and features Bader's legendary TFC-8 technology, which stimulates skin repair, activates regeneration systems, and fights signs of aging.
You thought C E Ferulic was good? Try this potent antioxidant serum that contains 25 of the world's most powerful botanicals. I've been eyeing it because it's also great for all skin types, contains phytonutrients that heal your skin at the cellular level, and addresses the early signs of aging in three days or fewer. Sounds pretty promising, right?
I actually just got this blush, and I most likely will never stop purchasing it. The shade Love is absolutely gorgeous—it's this beautiful terra-cotta color that complements darker skin tones so well.
I only recently got into cleansing oils to remove my makeup—before, I was a balm loyalist through and through. But I'm glad I decided to give this one a go because it contains a detoxifying microgreens complex that protects against the drying effects of environmental stressors. It's also rich in vitamin A, D, and E.
Once Sephora Collection's national makeup artist told me how incredible these liquid eye shadows are, I immediately added them to my Sephora wish list. They're creamy and pigmented and come in a "charged-up" formula that provides even more vibrance.
I've heard so many wonderful things about Pattern and its formulas. As someone with dry, 3C curls, I know a good leave-in is absolutely essential. I'm ready to pull the trigger on this one since it's made with honey, biotin, and nourishing jojoba oil.
I love a good resurfacing mask, and this one from organic brand Agent Nateur finally made it into my collection recently. It's incredibly gentle but highly effective with ingredients like aloe vera, French silk peptides, pitaya, hyaluronic acid, and cucumber. It targets dryness, dull skin, pores, and fine lines. It's truly an all-in-one.
The best part about using Prose products is that they're custom-made for you. All you have to do is answer a few questions about your hair and environment. Then, they take care of the rest. I'm a recent Prose convert, and I've been loving using my custom hair oil with my custom curl cream. It provides the perfect cocktail of moisture for my dry curls.
I won't lie to you. I've never really been one to use a lash primer, but now I'm changing all that. A friend of mine recommended this one to me, and let me tell you her lashes look amazing. They've got length for days, so let's just say I'll be smashing the buy button, like, yesterday.
I'm a huge bath person, and as usual, I discovered this product while scrolling through Instagram. This luxurious bath oil soothes and relaxes with high-quality essential oils like vetiver, sandalwood, and chamomile. It would go perfectly with a crystal healing bath (which I do often), so I'm going to stock up immediately.
I'm in the market for a good makeup brush cleaner, and the reviews for this one don't lie. Sure, most makeup artists love the one from Cinema Secrets, but you can't beat the price tag on this one, and it's super effective.
I finally started buying more of my own nail colors, and this gorgeous soft-sage color is my latest buy. Butter London polishes are so chic, and this unique formula has shock-resistant polymer technology to make it extra chip resistant.
This tinted balm from Jones Road is so versatile—you can wear it with or without foundation, as a highlight, or as an allover face tint. The shades are just stunning, and I need to get my hands on one ASAP. It adds such a gorgeous warmth to the skin that looks totally natural.
One more from Luzern because the brand is that good. This is a new offering from the brand, and I had the pleasure of getting to test it out when I received a Luzern facial. It contains so many wonderful things for the skin that I don't even know where to start. To name just a few, it's brimming with niacinamide, alpha-arbutin to brighten, and Boerhavia diffusa root extract, which evens your skin tone in a uniform way rather than just spot-treating.
This limited-edition brush collection from Real Techniques is a collaboration with Female Collective, a safe and inclusive Instagram platform that empowers and amplifies female voices. The collection is so vibrant and fun. I'm a huge fan of Real Techniques brushes in general—they're top quality for such a wallet-friendly price. I love this latest collab and will be adding them all to my cart immediately.
This light-reflecting luminizer quad contains four creamy and gorgeous shades that are perfect for everyday wear. I love creating my own custom radiant look by mixing a few shades together and putting them on the high points of my face. Each blends together so seamlessly, and it has become quite the staple in my makeup bag.
This is easily one of the best mascaras I've ever used. The formula isn't clumpy at all and adds so much length and volume to my lashes. I love it endlessly and will continue to reach for it as long as the brand makes it.
