I'm Updating My Activewear Closet for the New Year—32 Finds I Think Are Great
Despite my usual and expected attentiveness to what I wear, I do have to confess that I almost arrive at the gym looking quite messy. Holey old T-shirts, tired leggings, and an outworn pair of running sneakers are my typical uniform. So, this New Year, I've decided that an athletic gear overhaul is necessary and will hopefully spark subsequent motivation.
Since activewear has become more of a lifestyle category courtesy of athleisure, the options have greatly expanded. Although I love a sporty lounge set (any activewear can double as one), I am looking for functional pieces that will support a high-intensity workout.
Below, I've compiled the pieces I have my eye on for my activewear refresh. Keep scrolling to shop the pieces that will have you eager to book your next workout.
A black workout set is a trusty bet and this long-sleeve top is a welcome winter piece.
Add the matching leggings to complete the sporty set.
The leggings can also be worn separately with an easy T-shirt.
I'm looking to add more pops of color to my activewear repertoire.
High-rise compressive leggings offer guaranteed comfort.
For spring and summer, these breezy shorts are a runner's best friend.
This long jumpsuit doubles as a layering piece for casual wear.
Designed for impact, this sports bra is a trusty gym companion.
Fluorescent hues are definitely making my new workout wardrobe.
Obsessed with the sporty seaming on these leggings.
Pastel activewear is perfect for the spring and summer months.
This playful abstract print is everything.
