In celebration of the new season's arrival, I’ve already begun my 2024 spring clean. Naturally, I started with my wardrobe, and whilst I was de-bobbling jumpers and packing away my thermal pieces, I noticed gaps where I was missing some clever capsule pieces. And after a long winter of relying on the same basics, I’m ready to reinvigorate getting ready with a bit of newness. There are a few investment styles on my wish list, but as I’ve always been a fan of the British high street, this spring, I’m looking for a few affordable finds that will cement my wardrobe as the hard-working, stylish and reliable selection I know it can be. Where to start on this quest? I turned to my trusted favourite, H&M.
As spring begins to show the first signs of life, H&M has already rolled out the new-season styles to match. True to form, the high-street hero has combined fresh styles with timeless classics to serve our wardrobes throughout spring and well beyond. For me, spring is synonymous with denim, as the fabric comes into its own in all shapes and styles from reliable jeans to light denim button-down layers and a few good denim skirts too, which have become a modern staple. And there are a few other spring staples we always turn to, from the humble trench coat to versatile lightweight knits that see us through spring showers and cooler evenings, as well as tank tops and T-shirts for those warmer moments.
