I've Waited All Summer for Fall Arrivals—42 I'm Shopping Before Anyone Else
Me? I'm a fall girl through and through. While summer dressing can certainly be fun (sheer pieces, strappy little sandals, and emotive accessories were of a few of my favorites this year), I'd be lying if I said that I didn't look forward to fall shopping all summer long and, honestly, all year long. There's just something about fall shopping that feels magical. It brings me back to those back-to-school shopping days when I would spend hours at the mall immersed in the new arrivals, curating new outfits to wear and cooking up a whole new personal style vibe for who I wanted to become.
This season, that means tapping into some of the most exciting new fall trends to hit the market, like suede car coats, elegant flats, and quirky-cool pendant necklaces. The best part of fall shopping, though, is all the new categories you get to tap into with cooler weather on the horizon. Cool jackets, cozy sweaters, everyday ankle boots, and a fresh new-season color palette are back on the menu. I've waited months to shop fall arrivals, and now that they're here, I'm too eager to wait any longer. I'm not even waiting for the temperates to drop. Ahead, I'm sharing the 42 finds I'm most excited about and plan to shop before anyone else does.
The very first thing I'll be buying? A suede car coat in a rich chestnut brown to wear with, well, anything and everything.
I never considered how chic a pair of white loafers could be until I saw them in the J.Crew x Maryam Nassir Zadeh collaboration. Stock in that exact pair may be long gone, but I'm interested in trying a pair from Jamie Haller, especially since my favorite fashion Substackers have been singing the praises of this label.
Love the idea of wearing this with a button-down or sweater tied around the waist.
Prepare yourself: Your social feeds are about to be flooded with built-in scarf jackets (and already are).
New Prada alert! I tried on a very similar pair in store recently and can confirm they're even more beautiful in person.
Boho style is back, and this accessory trend is how I plan to tap in.
The only decision I need to make is whether to buy it in cream or black.
The jeans that had my DMs full.
Another day, another perfect pair of Khaite ankle boots to dream about.
How cute would this be with some bag charms to match?
I can already tell the cost per wear on these will approach zero.
This has lingered in my Ssense cart for months. Now that I'm on a shopping spree, it's about time I hit "order."
The boxiness of this feels so much more forward than any of my other white tees.
I just placed an order for these and can already tell they're going to become an immediate staple.
This feels like the next It shape in the evolution of barrel-leg jeans.
I'll let you in on a styling secret: Adding a sculptural belt is the cheat code to a cool outfit.
This is where I admit that bowler bags are the only style I care about right now, and Reformation has some very good ones.
I live in the 501 '90s style. I could always use a new pair.
