When I think of a brand that's worn by every chic person I know, one immediately comes to mind: J.Crew. Though it once had a reputation for catering to people with preppy style, it's now a beloved, reliable place to shop for wardrobe staples—especially among our editors. We each have completely different approaches to shopping and personal style, yet every one of our closets has at least one J.Crew piece.

Several people on our team have the classic Rollneck sweater in various colors. Personally, I love The Cashmere Shop for cashmere sweaters (with many under $150), which I wear all the time in the fall and winter.
