Autumn's First It Bag Comes Courtesy of JW Anderson, Obviously
JW Anderson has become a bit of a magician in the world of designer handbags. Season after season, the designer offers up lust-worthy styles that are quickly catapulted to cult status within a matter of weeks, including the Disc Satchel and the iconic Pierce Bag. It might not be a brand with a history as long as Chanel, but it has certainly garnered the respect of influencers and industry insiders alike. Well, this season, the brand has dropped another gem, and of course, it's on track to become autumn's first It bag.
Coming in a slouchy, soft leather with a chunky-chain handle, the new style is a perfect combination of practical yet luxurious, polished yet versatile. The bag also comes in a wide range of size options—from the Small with a height of 23cm to the Large, which measures at 54cm—and a selection of colourways. I have my eye on the forest-green iteration, which is an interesting alternative to classic neutrals such as black and beige. The classic white also has a certain minimalist appeal and would be perfect for parties. Too early to start a dream Christmas wish list? Never.
