Kate Middleton Was Just Spotted in One of Our Favourite Minimalist Brands
Proving once and for all that royals are, in fact, just like us, Kate Middleton got all dressed up yesterday to appear on a video call. The duchess called in to This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in order to discuss her new initiative Hold Still, which invites the people of the UK to create portraits of the extraordinary times we are currently living in.
For her rare television appearance, the Duchess opted to wear a sunny shade of yellow in the form of a long-sleeve dress by British brand Raey. The brand—which was founded by Rachael Proud, a designer who started her career at Topshop before moving on to Christopher Kane—is known for its clean, minimalist styles and crisp tailoring.
While we love to see the duchess championing homegrown British brands, unfortunately, this Raey style is already sold out, as it was actually released a few summers ago. Very popular amongst the fashion set, the exact style was even worn by Monikh in the summer of 2018. Though you can't shop this particular dress, thankfully in the years since, Raey has continued to create coveted pieces you'll keep in your closet for seasons to come, many of which are available to shop below.
In the meantime, we'll be scrolling through Vestiaire Collective and Depop to check if anyone has decided to sell their iteration of Middleton's yellow dress online.
