Laura Lee started her YouTube channel almost a decade ago, and since then, she has amassed more than 4.6 million subscribers. She's also launched her own makeup line and collaborated with brands like SHEGLAM on limited-edition collections. Impressive? Yes, but the Los Angeles based makeup artist says she was born loving all things beauty, even before she learned about the importance of skincare. "My skin was good to me. I had (and still have) a lot of freckles and clear skin, but I wish I wore more sunscreen. My family was not educated on the importance of sun protection, and I loved being in the sun," says Lee.

When she was younger, Lee loved full-coverage makeup and would often wear as much as she could. "I wasn't trying to cover anything up. I just felt makeup was like art. I had so much fun with it. Now, I have a 'less is more' approach and enjoy a more natural look," she says of her beauty routine. Her natural makeup look is actually 20 steps long, but she insists that's fewer steps than it used to be. Curious to see some of her favorite products? Keep scrolling for her 22 top picks.
