I'm Planning My Summer Vacation—6 Luxurious Outfits I'm Taking With Me

I’m one of those people who don’t like to stay in one place for too long. I’m always getting away somewhere even if it’s just for the weekend. On one of my latest adventures, I went to Miami with my friends, and on the trip, I wanted to make sure I had a few days that felt like luxury. While I wish I could make my entire Miami trip a luxury vacation (who wouldn’t?), I decided sneaking in two days of the trip at The Four Seasons Surfside would have to do.

Walking into the FS Surf Club, you feel like you have been transported somewhere luxurious. I had possibly the most relaxing massage of my life before heading to the property's gorgeous beachfront pool, and I couldn’t help but clock the outfits I was seeing guests wearing around the hotel. The chicest women were floating from the champagne bar to the pool in outfits that were so elevated and stylish I immediately took a mental note as inspiration for my next adventure.

Now that summer is here and I am getting ready for my summer travel plans, I haven’t forgotten the elevated vibe that those Four Seasons guests were exuding. I rolled up my sleeves and went on the hunt for the most elevated-looking vacation outfit inspo I could find and ended up with six outfits that were exactly what I was looking for.

Keep scrolling to see which six luxe summer vacation looks I’ll be re-creating.

Linen Top + Miniskirt + Straw Bag + Sunglasses

When it comes to looking luxurious on vacation, the first step is making sure your vacation wardrobe is stocked with pretty white linen pieces. Nothing says European summer like a chic white linen outfit. The straw bag adds that out-of-office vibe that I plan to exude my whole vacation. This is the type of outfit I would wear for a day outing exploring the city, grabbing lunch, or window shopping.

Drop-Waist Dress + Shoulder Bag

Drop-waist dresses are trending for summer 2024, and I, for one, am obsessed with this trend. Not only is it ultra flattering, but also the lower waistline adds a more fashion-y feel than your average sundress. Just add your favorite shoulder bag and sandals, and this look is complete.

Sun Hat + Bikini + Long Skirt + Tote Bag

It doesn’t get more vacation vibes than this outfit. The all-white swimsuit-and-skirt set feels elevated and rich to me. Plus, a wide-brim sun hat is always a yes in my book. This look just told me I need to book a beach day in Mallorca.

Minidress + Thong Sandals

This outfit is my go-to for drinks and dinner on vacation. After a long day in the sun, when my skin is extra tan, that’s when I reach for the dress with as little fabric as possible to show it off. The casual nature of flat thong sandals paired with a flirty minidress is the perfect balanced summer-night outfit if you ask me.

Collared Shirt + Shorts + Mesh Flats + Hair Scarf

I didn’t think I would love a collared shirt for a vacation look, but after seeing this chic outfit above, I changed my tune. I’m loving how stylish and fashionable this outfit feels.

Maxi Dress + Statement Earrings

If there is one item that makes it in to my suitcase when I’m going on a vacation, it’s a stunning maxi dress. Not only is it easy to style, but it’s so comfortable, and the longer hemline adds a little bit of drama. I’m saving this outfit for a fancier dinner out on my summer vacation.
