I Saw This One Pair of "Nude" Shoes Every 10 Minutes During Fashion Week

Typically it is seen as a faux pas to wear the same outfit as someone else. At fashion month, however, there are always a handful of cult items that are so popular that you'll see entire teams wearing them at once. This weekend at London Fashion Week, I saw a pair of strappy slingback sandals with small heels by The Row every 10 minutes. The Net-a-Porter buying team has been wearing these en masse, as shown in the below shoefie, which shows five of the buyers in the "bare" heels.
The straps are so delicate that you might think these would be a very uncomfortable, unsupportive shoe—but having spent London Fashion Week with someone who wore these for 10-hour days, I have it on good authority that they are surprisingly comfortable.
Net-a-Porter's Lisa Aiken wrote about these shoes in her monthly column for us: "Heading into September, I need good transition shoes I can wear all day. They also have to be comfortable enough to see me through the fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. So first up on my wish list are The Row’s best-selling Nude sandals. They’ll work perfectly with a slip dress and a blazer (my current favorite outfit combination), and because of their lower heel height, they look effortless and chic."
The sandals come in petrol blue, black, white, orange and black, but with such air time over fashion week, these are quickly selling out in all sizes.
