Another day, another 10/10 outfit from the celebrity set. This time around, it was Jennifer Lawrence who hit up Sunset Boulevard over the weekend alongside her husband, Cooke Maroney, looking as effortless and cool as always.

For the occasion, the No Hard Feelings actress took inspiration from the '90s, when the street-style stars were Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Carla Bruni, and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Wearing Bottega Veneta by Matthieu Blazy from head to toe, Lawrence's midriff-baring sweater, belted dark jeans, and leather blazer was '90s to a T. She also added a white tee for layering purposes, a thick brown belt, and one of the Italian fashion brand's Tosca Intrecciato leather shoulder bags. When I saw photos of the final fit, I knew immediately that this would be one of those JLaw looks that made it to best-dressed roundups for years to come. It's just that good.

But what really stood out to me about the look was the same thing that always does when I scroll through '90s street-style shots: the jeans. Back then, everyone had great jeans, usually perfectly distressed Levi's. They fit just right and kept every outfit looking casual and uncomplicated, which is exactly what Lawrence's jeans did for her ensemble. And the only trait hers share with those '90s muses is the fact that they're cut in a classic, straight silhouette. Scroll down to see Lawrence's date-night look and shop the timeless denim style that always comes out on top.
