After a few years without any vacations on my calendar, you could say that I'm more than ready to book a plane ticket and head off somewhere new. While the idea of a trip sounds exciting, I have to admit that I've been thinking just as much about what I would pack. Personally, half the fun of getting away is ordering new vacationwear to throw into my suitcase.

I've had my eye on what's new this season and have already started compiling a list of what I plan to wear on vacation, and I'm spilling all of the details of what made the cut. Since I'm envisioning a trip somewhere by the water, you'll find plenty of swimsuits and sandals, trendy sunglasses, statement accessories, and cool cover-up pieces—plus some fun things that I would wear at night. Ahead, see all of the items that landed on my vacation shopping list for 2022.
