Cosy Season Is My Speciality—These Are the 17 Autumn Beauty Products I Really Want You to Know About
I'm a beauty director who thrives in autumn, and I think everyone deserves to have at least one of these products in their cosy-season routine.

As a beauty director, it isn't often that I throw statements out there with absolute certainty (beauty is science and science is rarely definite, after all), but something I do know for sure is that my taste in autumn beauty products is second to none. It might seem immodest of me to say, but I really mean it—whether it be cleansers, body creams, shower gels, hair masks or perfume, I know what makes an exceptional beauty product at this time of year.
How do I know? Because autumn is my time. You see, I spend most of the year draining my social battery—I spend my days writing about products and in meetings with beauty brands, experts and researchers, and my evenings are typically spent discovering new beauty launches. But from the moment the first leaf falls, I begin my autumn hibernation. I pull back on work commitments, clear my social calendar, and I spend no fewer than six weeks enjoying the comfort of my own home and my own company—and you better believe I use this time to work my way through my extensive beauty stash.
So, now that autumn is officially here, I figured there is no better time to share some of my comforting autumn beauty recommendations. Sure, I've got practical suggestions—like nourishing creams and glow-boosting tan drops—but, in my opinion, the best autumn beauty products are not the ones you need, but rather the ones you want. Whether you're looking to revel in the joy of a cosy autumn candle, indulge in a soothing bubble bath or find comfort in slathering on a seasonal lip balm, I've got you. These are the best beauty products you can add to your rotation this autumn.
1. Diptyque Citrouille Candle
Diptyque candles are second to none, and this seasonal treat is no exception. It smells like sweet, creamy pumpkin, but without any of the heady dusting of sugar you'll find in so many others. True to Diptyque's home fragrance DNA, it remains fresh and light on the nose. It is the pumpkin candle for those who turn their noses up at pumpkin candles. Frankly, it's the only pumpkin-centred home fragrance I have ever let through my front door, and my gosh, I'm so much happier for it.
2. Victoria Beckham Beauty The Foundation Drops
When junior beauty editor Grace reviewed Victoria Beckham Beauty's The Foundation Drops, she told me I needed to get them on my face immediately. And this is a big deal—we both know I despise wearing foundation. However, because I trust both her and Victoria Beckham Beauty implicitly, I decided to give them a go. Since the first application, not a single autumn day has gone by without these drops gracing my complexion. They are almost unbelievably lightweight, feel like nothing on the skin and impart the sort of lit-from-within glow that I didn't think was actually possible from a base product—all while evening out skin tone. The price tag is absolutely grotesque, but I'm horrified to say I still think this product is worth every penny.
3. Living Proof Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo Velvet Amber
Ask any beauty editor, and they will tell you that Living Proof Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo is the single best dry shampoo ever made. It's just a fact. Nothing absorbs grease quite like it. This new iteration delivers the same cleansing formula with a warming, autumnal amber fragrance. I'm head over heels.
4. Three Warriors Hydrabronze Tan Drops
I have never received more compliments on my bronzy glow than I have over the past month or so, when my natural summer tan has entirely faded. The reason? Daily application of facial tanning drops—more specifically, these facial tanning drops from Three Warriors. Mix a few drops into your moisturiser and witness a hydrated, bronzed complexion develop over the course of the day. My top tip? I actually mix mine in with my serum for maximum absorption.
5. The Nue Co. Us Pheromone+
You don't have to believe in the power of pheromone perfumes to think this scent is delectably delicious. When I spritzed my neck in theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing office last week, the entire team flocked over to my desk to ask after it. The Nue Co. Us Pheromone+ is the ultimate comfort blanket perfume. It's a creamy scent that swaddles you up and eases your mind—the sort that makes everyone want to nuzzle their noses right into it.
6. Olaplex No.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum
This hair serum has proved to be my autumnal hair hero, and I truly believe that everyone needs to know about it. It contains Olaplex's cult bond-repairing complex, as well as heat protectors and softening moisturisers. Rather than faffing around with a hair mask, just apply a pump or two of this to towel-dried lengths post-wash and prepare for the softest, shiniest, silkiest hair of your life.
7. L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil
Try L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil once and never look back. Truthfully, I am such a devoted fan of this product that I use it all year round, but there is no denying it comes into its own in autumn. It has a fresh, fluffy-towel almond scent (as opposed to being a sweet, marzipan-like almond) and leaves skin beautifully nourished. If you've never tried this, just do it now and thank me later—this is your sign.
8. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I am hardwired to dislike any product that goes viral on TikTok, but Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is an exception—it really is a very, very good lip mask. As somebody with chronically dry lips, I have gone through countless tubs of this stuff, and my rotation only gets quicker when temperatures drop in the autumn. This new scent, pumpkin pie, is every bit as deliciously cosy as I hoped it would be.
9. Navy Cuticle Balm
As soon as the summer sun sets, my hands dry out. It's like my hands and nails know it's autumn before I do. This nourishing cuticle balm has proved to be my saving grace in recent weeks. Not only does it smell delicious, but it has prolonged the life of my manicures and kept my cuticles looking their most preened. This chic gold tin hasn't left my bedside table, and I use it every single night.
10. Rhode Peptide Eye Prep
With darker mornings arriving, I know I'm not alone in feeling particularly tired right now—and my eyes are showing it. Not only are my dark circles doing their worst, but the drop in humidity has also caused my eye area to dry out. These new eye masks from Rhode are proving a beautifully quenching, depuffing treat, though.
11. Susanne Kaufmann Mallow Blossom Bubble Bath
To know me is to know my love for a bubble bath. I have an hour-long soak every single night without fail, and this bath soak from my favourite bath and body brand of all time, Susanne Kaufmann, is an autumn must-know. Not only does it look almost impossibly chic on the shelf, but it also produces the creamiest bubbles, and my tired limbs lap up every bit of the nourishment.
12. Perfumer H Steam
It's another perfume, I know, but I can't not mention Steam. We're not even halfway through October, and it has already become the defining scent of autumn 2025 for me. Unlike the aforementioned Pheromone+, Perfumer H's Steam is earthy and forest-like. It smells like cold steam rising over a damp forest at the crack of dawn—it's sense-clearing, green and all-encompassingly clarifying.
13. Giorgio Armani Eye Tint
'Tis the season for all things brown, and your eyeshadow should be no exception. While I don't typically apply eyeshadow every day, I have found great joy in swiping this Giorgio Armani eye tint over my lids every morning before smooshing it in with my finger. It takes approximately five seconds to apply and delivers a pulled-together, autumnal makeup look in a flash.
14. Manucurist Hollyhock
My milky nails are out, and deep burgundy manicures are in. From October all the way through to spring, you better believe my nails are a deep, almost-black shade of red. Manucurist Hollyhock is, by far, my favourite nail polish shade of all time (closely followed by Chanel Rouge Noir, of course), and it's got autumn written all over it.
15. Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse
There are few things more joyful than removing the day's dirt with a comforting cleansing session as soon as you get home from work. Recently, I've been stepping in through the front door, putting on my pyjamas and massaging Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse into my face for a good five minutes or so. The jury's out on the actual skincare benefits of my prolonged massage method, but my gosh, it brings me so much peace. From the spa-like scent to the unctuous balm-to-milk texture, everything about this product oozes cosiness.
16. The Body Shop Sleep Calming Pillow Mist
It might not look as chic as other sleep sprays out there, but trust me when I say this stuff is my autumn-time sleep saviour. It doesn't have the harsh lavender scent that has become commonplace in pillow mists. Instead, the lavender is made palatable and creamy with the addition of vetiver. A few spritzes onto my pillow and I'm out like a light.
17. We Are Regular 01. Bowel + Bloat Relief
While there is no doubt I am a lover of the finer things, I am also a realist, so I couldn't finish off a round-up of the best beauty and wellness products for autumn without mentioning this stuff. Come autumn, I spend more time than ever horizontal. I don't do much moving. And while that proves good for my brain, it isn't so good for my body. In fact, not moving slows pretty much everything down—including my digestion. As a result of this (plus my desire to binge eat comfort food), I spend most of autumn feeling bloated. These new supplement sachets, however, are the antidote to autumn bloat. One sachet a day, first thing in the morning, is all it takes.
