The COS Sale Is Here—19 Classic Autumn Buys I'm Adding to My Basket
Every once in a while one of our favourite high street brands comes along and treats us to an amazing sale. We know to look out for these at the end of every season, but a mid-season sale is even more of a treat, with the possibility of nabbing some pieces we've added to our wish list recently for a lower price.
Often those pieces that end up in the sale are fairly trend-led which have been left over at the end of a season, meaning that it often requires a hefty bit of work in order to find the discounted gems that are worth snapping up. However, today that's not the case. Enter COS, who has spoiled shoppers with an up to 50%-off mid season sale full of a plethora of classic buys that will work hard in your wardrobe year-round.

There are plenty of versatile pieces on offer to satisfy even the fussiest of shopper, from hero tailoring to staple t-shirts and standout dresses to autumn-ready knitwear. You can also expect a fantastic selection of denim that will work for you now and for many seasons to come.
To make the sale shopping experience even easier for you, I've rounded up my favourite pieces that are worth buying, even without the discount. Scroll down to discover the classic pieces I've added to my basket, as well as tips on how to make them work hard for you, year round.

I've had my eye on this blazer for such a long time. I'll wear mine with tailored trousers, denim and dresses.
A good black shirt dress will work hard for you. I wear mine with knee-high boots now and sandals come spring.
Now's the time to invest in a great coat. This quilted style ticks all my boxes: comfy, practical and stylish.
A striped t-shirt will go with so many things in your wardrobe. Pair with denim for a Parisian look or dress it up with a leather midi skirt.
This beautiful blazer is one of the brand's bestselling pieces. I love how it looks with a lighter trouser.
Knitted midi dresses are having a moment. Dress this up with heels and jewellery or wear with boots and a cardigan for a more casual feel.
I told you there was a great tailoring offering! This black blazer has a slightly more tailored fit, so consider going up a size if you want it to feel relaxed.
Everyone is tapping into the shearling trend. This navy style will look so stylish with everything from workwear to evening looks.
I added this to my basket straight away. Look how good it looks with jeans and loafers.
Another great knitted dress that will work just as well in winter with cosy layers and boots as it will with sandals in summer.
I have this sweatshirt in black and navy and get so much use out of them. I know the white will be just as handy.
You can never go wrong with an LBD. Pair this with heeled ankle boots or mules for the festive season.
If you're avoiding black but are still looking for a timeless blazer that will go with so many things, this is it.
Cardigans really come into their own this time of year. Channel French girls by wearing a navy style with relaxed denim.
How good is this whole look? Add a trench coat or a tabbard for extra warmth.
I am obsessed with tabbards. This cream iteration looks beautiful with other neutral shades.

Poppy joined theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing UK team as managing editor in 2022. After graduating from university with a degree in English literature, she worked for a number of print and digital publications, including Women's Health, The Times, Hello! and Marie Claire. In these roles she assisted the fashion teams with print content as well as digital shopping features, shoots and celebrity news.
Prior toBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , Poppy worked at SheerLuxe as the commercial content manager. There she oversaw all paid-for site content and inclusions, managed the visual assets and briefs for branded content, and ensured all content—whether editorial or commercial—was in line with overall brand guidelines and tone. She also supported the editorial team by looking after visual merchandising on site and reviewing the brand’s daily newsletters.
As WWW UK’s managing editor, Poppy spends most of her time looking after the content calendar and all output across the brand, in addition to working with contributors, supporting with social media planning, assisting with branded content and contributing to brand strategy. Poppy prides herself on being organised, and a keen eye for detail means she oversees the production of tentpole moments such asBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing ’s quarterly celebrity covers, the Wedding Issue, team shoots, events, industry-facing moments, gift guides and more. In addition to this, Poppy ensures processes across the brand are efficient and effective, and is always on the lookout for ways the team can work smarter, not harder! As someone who works behind the scenes (Poppy loves a spreadsheet!), you won’t find many articles by Poppy on site, but when you do there’s no doubt they will either be focused on dresses, handbags or classic high-street buys she shares with her mum. Or better yet, all three!
Born and raised in London, Poppy is a true city girl. When she's not thinking about clothes (or raiding her mum’s wardrobe), Poppy fills her time walking along the river with her 11-year-old labradoodle, getting stuck in a good book and enjoying as many of the city’s amazing restaurants and bars as her purse will allow! Her favourite London spots are Caravel for dinner, the Ham Yard Hotel for a fancy pre-theatre drink, Daunt Books for a new read, 26Grains for breakfast and Coal Drop's Yard for a spot of shopping.
