These Designer-Passing Zara Jeans Have Replaced Every Other Pair I Own—and They're Still in Stock
With a sleek asymmetric waistband and elegant wide-leg design, these are the only jeans I'm wearing for the foreseeable.

The best way to describe my style is: as casual as I can possibly get away with. If there's an option to wear a pair of jeans, I will take it, which means that I've amassed quite the denim collection over the years. From £300 designer pairs to charity shop Levi's, I've tried hundreds of styles—but the pair I reach for most? A humble high-street gem. Enter: Zara's Crossover Jeans.
Zara is no stranger to a brilliant pair of jeans. You may remember the Marine jeans which quickly became a fixture in fashion editor wardrobes everywhere, proving that the brand knows how to deliver elevated cuts that feel trend-relevant, without the hefty price tag. So, I knew that history was repeating itself when every single one of my friends owned the Crossover Jeans. Naturally, I ran to my nearest Zara.
As the name suggests, the jeans feature an asymmetric crossover waistband that adds just the right amount of interest. The fit is a relaxed wide-leg—easy but not overwhelming—and they come in three washes: a classic mid-blue, a white, and a lighter, vintage-inspired tone. The fit is just perfect, hugging my waist and tapering down the leg to create an elongated silhouette. One thing to note is that they're a little on the longer side, so if you're on the shorter side, you may need to get these taken up slightly. If you'd rather a more classic silhouette, the crossover style also comes in a ‘90s-inspired straight-leg cut for an effortlessly cool alternative.
So far, I’ve worn mine to dinner, teamed with mesh ballet flats and a cute top, the office, with a button-up shirt and clogs, and on errand runs with a white tee and trainers. They’re the kind of jeans that quietly go with everything, which is why I wear them three times a week, minimum.
And I’m far from the only fan. Shopping editor, Florrie Alexander, has also sung their praises, styling hers with a perfect white tee and black leather flats—a foolproof combination that proves just how versatile they really are.
