The Triomphe logo at the temples is subtle but adds that elevated touch you expect from Celine. Some would say this style suits oval and heart-shaped faces best, but honestly, they're so versatile that I think anyone can pull them off. They're a great statement pair that still feels wearable day-to-day.

2. Tom Ford Square Frame Sunglasses
Style Notes: The aviator shape has been around forever, but Tom Ford's version is, unsurprisingly, one of the strongest I've seen. They work brilliantly with minimalist outfits; think a simple grey vest top, loose tailored trousers and pointed-toe flats. They have a way of pulling focus without overwhelming your look, so if you want your designer sunglasses to deliver something a little unexpected, this is the pair.

4. DiorPacific Rectangular-Frame Sunglasses
Style Notes: Rectangular frames are still having a major moment, and Dior's Pacific pair is one of the sleekest iterations I've tried. There's something distinctly '90s about them; they're very Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy walking through New York in an oversized coat and jeans. The thick black acetate frames are bold but easy to wear, especially if you like a shape that can work with both casual and more elevated looks. I was wearing an oversized blazer, white tee and baggy jeans combo when I tried them on, and they worked perfectly. 5. Miu Miu Oval-Frame Sunglasses
Style Notes: Miu Miu has mastered the art of playful sophistication, and these oval frames are a perfect example. The shape is very current (thanks in part to the brand's influence over TikTok trends), but the black acetate gives them a classic edge that won't date quickly. I can definitely see myself wearing these with a simple navy knitted co-ord and ballet flats, channelling that coquette-meets-Parisienne vibe we're seeing everywhere right now. They’re surprisingly flattering on round and square face shapes thanks to the gentle curve of the lenses. If you want something both trend-led and practical, these strike the right balance.

These oversized black frames give full "office siren" energy.
Loewe's former creative director, Jonathan Anderson, took proportion play to the extreme with these inflated cat-eye frames. They're exaggerated but surprisingly easy to wear with sharp tailoring or floaty dresses.
Prada's Symbole collection has become something of a cult classic. I love how these sharp rectangular frames bring instant structure to softer outfits, like a linen suit or a silk maxi dress.

Tortoiseshell sunglasses are eternally chic. The oval design and glossy finish of this pair would work brilliantly with minimal, monochrome outfits that let the sunglasses do the talking.
