It's Officially White-Blouse-and-Jeans Season—I'm Into These 4 Pairings

And just like that, it feels like the seasonal shift has come full circle and now, I'm not interested in anything unless it involves warm weather. Last weekend I actually spotted someone drinking an Aperol. Outside. Sure, it might feel a little tenuous to say I'm in physically in summer-mode but mentally I'm there, day-dreaming about wearing cotton sundresses and slider sandals without a care or concern for the weather. I know, however, just how volatile the first few weeks of the season can be, so while I'm keen to embrace the sunnier days and brighter disposition, I need an outfit that can nod to this whilst also being somewhat practical until the forecast is more of a sure thing. Cue white blouses and jeans.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in myself that I haven't written about this subject before. A white blouse and blue jeans is by far my favourite outfit to wear, though I've been overlooking it somewhat in terms of actually putting pen to paper about it. It's one of those quiet and unassuming outfit combinations that I know I've taken for granted because it just works. Now, having spotted some of my favourite IG dressers wearing the combination this week, I'm righting that wrong.

White blouse-and-jeans outfits are one of the chicest things you can wear, you can achieve the look on any budget or assemble it from pieces you already own, and they form a flawless foundation to layer other items upon. They go with any and every shoe I can think of and, owing to their neutral and classic palette, can be paired with any colour going, too, so there are endless ways to add personality to a white blouse-and-jeans look.

If my gushing words haven't convinced you, perhaps the influencer outfits below will. Then, should you find yourself in the mood to shop, I've assembled my favourite white blouses and blue jeans on the market for you also. Enjoy!
