From printed dresses to wide-leg trousers, these are the seven weekend-ready outfits to try this bank holiday weekend.

We’re currently in the middle of summer here in the UK; however, anyone currently here knows that the weather has been rather unpredictable. Though it's technically still summer, this past week alone has seen several windy spells in which you definitely need longer sleeves and heavier fabrics. This bank holiday weekend (which I’m sure we’re all probably grateful for) is set to be sunny here in the UK, but it’s always good to bring along a few extra layers in case the weather turns, no matter what you have planned.
All that being said, if you weren't already excited about the bank holiday's impending arrival, I hope you are now. And to get you up to my level (i.e., itching with impatience), I've rounded up a few outfits that perfectly balance the current summer and upcoming autumn season.
So, when you're done with the 9-5 and find yourself lying in bed on a bright Saturday morning, come back to these looks. Whether you want a fresh take on your go-to outfit formulas, or you're ready to rock the midi dresses that are politely waiting for their time to shine, you'll find plenty of inspiration below. And just in time for the bank holiday too. You're welcome!
