Ballet Flats! Knee-Length Skirts! Sheer Dresses! 30 Pieces I'm Excited to Wear This Spring
I love warm weather so much I've literally talked about it in therapy. Recently, I caught myself on a full tangent about winter, saying "I feel the most me in the sun, wearing a little dress or skirt and flats or kitten heels."
That probably seems dramatic to people who are unfazed by the cold, but I do think there's a very real correlation between feeling your best and being able to dress in a way that feels authentic to you. What that means varies so much from person to person. For me, that's dressing in a way that doesn't require weather-related compromise, when I can get dressed without factoring in extreme temperatures.
Ahead, I've rounded up the ballet flats, knee-length skirts, sheer dresses, and other pieces I'm genuinely excited to wear this spring.
Ballet Flats
At the very top of my wish list is a classic pair of black ballet flats from Repetto. Many of our editors are loyal to the Margaux Demi flats as well, and I have ones from Camper that are extremely comfortable that I love. I'm also tempted to expand into colorful options, like Alex Mill's new Prince Street Ballet Flats in Hibiscus or something playful from Hopp Studios.
Knee-Length Skirts
On the skirt front, I'm gravitating toward easy knee-length silhouettes. I used to be a devoted miniskirt wearer, but lately, I've found myself reaching for a longer style when I'm out and about. It feels a little more polished and practical.
Sheer Dresses
Then there are sheer dresses, which feel like a trend we're about to see everywhere. I love the idea of something like the Noah Slip Dress from L.A. brand Geel. If wearing one on a regular day feels intimidating, I like it for a beach trip or vacation worn over a swimsuit as well.

There are a lot of other pieces I'm considering, including With Jéan's Maude Dress, Levi's 501 '90s Straight Leg Jeans, Banana Republic's Cotton V-Neck Sweater, and Reformation's Inez Pumps.
