J.Law's Low-Key Outfit Combinations Are What I'm Copying This Summer

Jennifer Lawrence has carved a name for herself as one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation, so you could assume she's hardly short of access to the finest clothes. As a long-time ambassador of Dior, the actress has made Maria Grazia Chiuri's creations her go-tos in recent years, wearing Dior dresses to many a red carpet appearance. With fancy events and premieres largely on hold for the time being, it is the star's off-duty looks that have really started to catch my attention. 

With a penchant for wearing the world's buzziest brands—including Bottega Veneta and The Row—Lawrence clearly knows a thing or two about what's in right now. Although her aesthetic is relatively understated (think classic staples like white T-shirts paired with tailored trousers and tennis sneakers), all of the items she does wear are of the utmost quality and have often been created by the industry's most coveted labels. 

From a floral sundress paired with Dior accessories to Olsen-approved trousers worn alongside a Celine handbag, keep scrolling for four J.Law looks I have loved lately.

1. White T-Shirt + Tailored Trousers

Style Notes: Between Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kendall Jenner and now Lawrence, these trousers by The Row have, undoubtedly, become the It item of the summer. Here, J.Law pairs the trending staple alongside a Celine handbag, Dior sneakers and a trusty plain, white tee. 

2. Minidress + Sneakers

Style Notes: Once again proving her affinity for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's label, The Row, here, Lawrence carries the brand's suede tote, wearing it alongside an HVN minidress and white trainers. 

3. Shirt Dress + Brogues

Style Notes: In my head, this is the kind of look Lawrence would wear in an alternate universe where she has a 9-to-5 office job. The shirt dress, also by HVN, is incredibly sophisticated, and the brogues add practicality. Of course, as per usual, she's finished this look with a Dior handbag. 

4. Shorts + T-Shirt + Bucket Hat

Style Notes: This outfit may seem low-key, but take one look at the Dior monogram on the inside of that bucket hat and you'll realise looks can be deceiving. Here, Lawrence has updated a casual T-shirt-and-shorts look with the addition of standout accessories, including the aforementioned designer hat, a Dior bag and Mansur Gavriel sandals.
