Victoria Beckham and Catherine Zeta-Jones Are Both Endorsing Thigh-High Slits

It's high time we talked about thighs. That is with regard to skirts with thigh-high slits, of course. This subtly sexy style was recently spotted on Victoria Beckham and Catherine Zeta-Jones, demonstrating that a miniskirt isn't the only way to show off a great pair of legs.

While Beckham wore a brown suede pencil skirt with chain details that matched her bag—both from the designer's eponymous label—Zeta-Jones paired her vibrant red leather skirt by Hervé Léger with matching red shoes and a black cape. As demonstrated by these two outfits, a thigh-high slit on a skirt that hits below the knee can be a versatile wardrobe piece for women of all ages. But if you're not into baring that much skin, the style also works perfectly well with tall boots. In fact, we prefer that pairing in winter.

With thigh-high slits on the rise, we've pulled 11 styles varying in colour, length, material, and cost. And just in case you're tempted to splurge on a leather design, it's possible to find excellent faux-leather versions that are less than £50.

Brown and lilac is an unexpected colour combination, but one I'm very much here for.

Zeta-Jones's combination of red and black is as classic as they come.
