Kate Middleton Wore My Fave Expensive-Looking Trend (No Royal Budget Necessary)

No number of Zara jumpers or Accessorize earrings could make Kate Middleton actually seem relatable, try as she might. No offense, Duchess. It's just that a royal-sized budget, jewel-encrusted tiaras and worldwide fame are a tad out of reach for the average person. That said, you certainly don't need to spend big bucks to re-create many of the Duchess of Cambridge's outfits, including her most recent one.

Middleton was photographed with Prince William at an event for Church on the Street, a charity that aims to lift people out of poverty. For the occasion, she wore a Massimo Dutti coat, Iris Ink jumper and skirt and Missoma earrings. Her camel coat, in particular, stood out because it's such an expensive-looking trend that will make you look polished and stylish without any effort at all. She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
