Kate Middleton Just Wore the Perfect Summer Dress—and It's £40 From Zara

We’re used to seeing Kate Middleton in custom Alexander McQueen coat dresses. However, this weekend the Duchess of Cambridge turned to the high street when she took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch Prince William in a polo match at Beaufort Polo Club. The blue-and-white striped Zara dress featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, a fluted A-line skirt, a belted waist and ruching along the bodice.

It’s no surprise after this royal endorsement that the £40 dress quickly sold out—but we couldn’t help but notice that on the website, several of the sizes say “coming soon” (so stay tuned). Kate paired her casual dress with low-heel espadrille wedges by Russell Bromley and a sturdy white tote. Princess Charlotte wore a floral pink The White Company sundress we wish came in adult sizes.
