I Always Style My Outfits Around Coats—and So Do These 4 Influencers

A good coat is at the core of any strong winter wardrobe. However, if you’re anything like me, chances are you’ll have more than one at your disposal. Try five. Then add another nine. What can I say? I have a thing for outerwear.

I attribute my obsession to the fact I grew up in (and recently relocated back to) Scotland. If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting my homeland, let me tell you—it is chill-you-to-the-bone cold. Which is why I heavily rely on coats to keep me cosy and to chicly layer over my thermals. As such, I tend to plan much of my autumn outfits around them.

Turns out, though, that I’m not the only person who is that way inclined. Plenty of my favourite influencers also put their coat choices above the rest of their ensembles. From puffer styles paired with minimal attire to bright checks resting upon neutral tones, there are so many ways to make your outerwear your outfit focal point.
