The Chloé Paddington Bag Is Set to Be a Cult Buy Again—And It's Finally Available to Shop
Chloé's Paddington bag returned to the runways for autumn/winter 2025, and the waitlist quickly grew. Now, it's finally available to shop.
The Luxury List is a monthly column on all things luxury, exploring cult items from heritage brands, tapping the foremost experts in the fashion space, and doing deep dives into the investment pieces that are worth it.
Twenty years after its debut in the Chloé S/S 05 show by Phoebe Philo, the Paddington bag is back. The iconic handbag returned on the runway in Chemena Kamali's autumn and winter 2025 collection and in-the-know shoppers quickly joined the wait list for the reissued Paddington bags at Chloé. Now, it's officially back in stock.
We're in the midst of a nostalgia-fueled moment in fashion, and it's ushering in the rise of archival styles, so it makes sense that Chloé would bring back one of its most beloved handbags to mark its 20th anniversary. After its original release, it was carried by It girls of the aughts, including Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton, and in 2025, it will be tucked under the arms of a new set of insiders. With autumn's arrival imminent, there's no time like the present to secure this season's It bag before it inevitably sells out.
