Is This the Next French It Girl?

If you're one of the three million fans who follow Chloé on Instagram, you might have noticed someone especially chic pop up on your feeds: Marie-Ange Casta. The French model-slash-actress stars in the label's new campaign for the Faye Medium Leather And Suede Backpack (£1350). Curious to learn more about the stunner, we did a bit of research on her background—and of course took a deep dive into her Instagram to get a sense of her style.

So what did we learn about her? For starters, she's the younger sister of model Laetitia Casta, who first shot to fame when she claimed the highly prestigious role as a Guess girl in the '90s and had a brief stint as Victoria's Secret Angel in the same decade. But Marie-Ange isn't living in the shadow of her older sibling: From her interview with W magazine earlier this year, we learned that she's been in several French films, has a modelling contract with IMG, and studied fashion design at ECSCP, École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. How's that for talented?

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
